Cupcakes?

I have to make like 50 cupcakes by tomorrow morning. I am using like the easy, box mix, but was wondering if anyone had any ideas to make them taste like homemade or better than a regular box? Anything I can add or take out or whatever? Thanks!

    add lemon peel and lemon juice to a vanilla icing. It’s called zesting. Put a sour fruit jujube on top of each one. Yummers!
