Can I bake cupcakes without the paper?

I’m baking cupcakes and the only thing I don’t have is the paper cups. Is it really necessary for them to be used?

    as long as you have a muffin tin it should not matter.

    You don’t always have to put cupcake papers in the muffin pan.

    not really, just spray a muffin pan with non-stick spray and you should be ok.

    most people use them when they are taking them to a party just grease and flour the pan
